Tora Press: DTF Transfer Application Instructions
For the best results and maximum durability, we recommend using a commercial heat press. While our transfers are industrial grade, correct application is key to a long-lasting print.
1. Equipment Setup

Temperature: 300°F – 320°F (150°C – 160°C)

Time: 10 – 15 Seconds

Pressure: Medium to Heavy (60 PSI or hard pressure by hand)
2. The Application Process
Step 1: Pre-Press the Garment Place your shirt on the heat press and press it for 5–10 seconds without the transfer.
Why? This removes moisture from the fabric and smooths out wrinkles, creating a perfect flat surface for adhesion.
Step 2: Alignment Place the Tora Press transfer onto the shirt with the design facing down (white backing facing up). Ensure it is centered and straight.
Step 3: The Initial Press Press the transfer using the settings listed above (300°F for 10-15 seconds). Ensure your pressure is firm; DTF requires good pressure to drive the adhesive into the fabric fibers.
Step 4: The Cool Peel Remove the shirt from the heat press and let it sit until it is completely cool to the touch.

Do not peel while hot. Once cooled, gently peel the film off starting from one corner in a smooth, continuous motion.
Step 5: The Finishing Press (Crucial Step!) Place the shirt back on the press. Cover the design with a Teflon sheet (for a glossy look) or Parchment paper (for a matte look). Press again for 5–10 seconds.
Why? This seals the design, softens the hand feel, and ensures maximum washability.
Washing Instructions

Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash.
